Day 1: The Mehndi

Date and Time: September 16th, 2025, 6:00 p.m.
Venue: Hyatt Regency Atakoy, Istanbul (by the Marmara Sea)

Please join us in a vibrant celebration of color, music in celebrating our Mehndi night in our eastern traditional way. Please add your shares of love and joy by translating them into singing and dancing for this spectacular evening by the beautiful Marmara Sea. 

Dress Code: Please come dressed in your brightest, most colorful attire – the more vibrant, the better! It’s a night to shine, dance, and create memories we’ll treasure forever. We strongly encourage wearing Indian or Pakistani attire to celebrate and highlight the cultural significance of this special event.

Day 2: Relax & Explore Istanbul

After undergoing the initial wedding ceremonies, there will be a special day to rest and relax.  Therefore, we have planned a Relax & Explore day in the stunning city of Istanbul, where you can enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of this incredible city on your own or in group such as:

  • Strolling through the Grand Bazaar, enjoying a traditional Turkish tea by the Bosphorus.

  • Simply soaking in the beauty of Istanbul’s charming streets. 

  • Discover the hidden gems throughout the city.

Overall, the intent of this day is to unwind and embrace the local culture and recharge for the next round of festivities. Please feel free to ask us for recommendations for any of the optional activities!

Day 3: The Nikkah Ceremony & Wedding

Date and Time: September 18th, 2025, 6:00 p.m.
Venue: Sait Halim Pasa Mansion

This will be a day for cherishing with friends and families as we celebrate this wonderful union between Ashal, Rokaya, and their families. Your presence will be a blessing, and a big support for the bride and groom in beginning their new life together. We humbly ask for your prayers for their success, happiness, and prosperity in their married life. 

As the evening unfolds, there will be delightful moments of love, magic, and surprises to share with you. To conclude the evening, Ashal and Rokaya will depart as the newly wed couple for the first time!

Dress Code: Whether you opt for cultural or Western attire, we simply ask that you keep it formal. Wear what makes you feel your best as we come together for this meaningful day!
