We recommend staying for a full week, from September 13–20, to fully soak in the beauty and charm of the area. What should I wear?

For the Mehndi, we strongly encourage wearing Indian or Pakistani attire to celebrate and highlight the cultural significance of this special event. Think vibrant colors, like orange, yellow and green, with intricate patterns, and traditional styles—it's the perfect opportunity to embrace the spirit of the celebration! For men, we suggest pairing a Kurta with a waistcoat. There will also be coordinated outfits for men and if you have not been contacted for that and would like to be, please reach out!

For the Wedding, the choice is yours—whether you opt for cultural or Western attire, we simply ask that you keep it formal. Wear what makes you feel your best as we come together for this meaningful day!

What is a Mehndi?

The Mehndi is a joyous pre-wedding celebration rooted in South Asian tradition. It's a vibrant event filled with music, dancing, and laughter, where loved ones gather to bless the couple. The highlight of the evening is the dance performances that the bride and groom’s sides will choreograph. Guests often wear colorful, traditional attire and join in the festivities. Be ready to hit the dance floor—it’s a night full of energy, fun, and unforgettable memories!

Do I need a visa for Turkey?

If you hold a U.S. passport, you do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days in Turkey. However, if you hold a passport from another country, visa requirements may vary. We recommend checking with the Turkish consulate or embassy to confirm your specific entry requirements.
